Holywell C of E Primary School is situated in the valley just below the village of Tawstock. It was founded in 1822 and originally consisted of one large room. Over the years it has grown (the number on roll is currently 93), and now comprises four classrooms and offices for the Headteacher and School Administrator. A short walk from the school is a playing field where the pupils enjoy football, rounders and the annual sports day. Click on the link (below) to the school website to find out more. The school prospectus is on the site. If you are interested in a place for your child at Holywell, please feel free to contact the school on 01271 345908.
